SINGLE POINT DIAMOND TURNING MACHINE: (Moore NanoTech 350 UPL Ultra Precision Diamond Turning Machine(USA).
The highlight of our machining centre is our state-of-the-art Nanotechnology Diamond Turning machine available with us.
We are definitely one of the rare companies to adapt this machine for hard turning and have successfully machined components of Hardness 50 - 60 Hrc to achieve size accuracies of better than 1 micron and surface finish of better than 20 nm.
We routinely machine soft components to achieve size tolerances of better than 1 micron and surface finish of better than 10 nm. We can machine “various Types & sizes of Metal Mirrors" from very small to 350mm , 500mm dia.Very soon to 1mtr. dia metal mirrors.
ULTRA PRECISION TURNING CENTER ( Spinner PD CNC lathe – Germany)
This is a state-of-the-art machining center for achieving size and form in the range of ± 3 microns. This is one of the best CNC lathe in world and is used in applications where size and form accuracies are of paramount importance.
MICRO MACHINING CENTER WITH EDM ATTACHMENT (will be available very soon).
This machine has unique feature for caring out Micro-milling, Micro turning, Micro drilling and wire EDM with Insitu measurement facilities.
MILLING CENTER (Germany)
This is a vertical milling center for accurate milling and drilling.
It is our logic that we should be able to prove that the claims made by us with regard to the size and form is certifiable by us. Indeed we believe that the machining center is as good as the measurement practices and quality control plans formulated by us. Therefore we have invested equal importance to the measurement systems available with us.
The machines available with us for measurement are as under:
CO-ORDINATE MEASUREMENT MACHINE (CAPS4 – SIP Co-ordinate Measuring system (CMM) (Switzerland)
This is a CNC controlled state-of-the-art co-ordinate measurement machine, which has a repeatability of 0.8 microns over the entire travel and a resolution of 0.1 microns.
The machine can certify parts in the sub-micron range.
LASER INTERFEROMETER: (Fisba Optics- Switzerland)
This is again the latest machine of its kind used for inspection by non contact method -parts can be measured within the nanometer range. As against the conventional measurement machines that uses a few representative sampling points to determine the size and form of the parts, this machine covers the entire part with a laser beam and captures a few hundred thousand points to provide a correct surface devition plot and eliminates any errors due to non-sampling.
MANY OTHER CONVENTIONAL MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS REQUIRED FOR QUALITY INSPECTION.
TOOLS
We maintain a constant inventory of Controlled waviness Diamond & CBN tools for machining of various parts and have developed excellent vendors both in India and abroad to cater to our customized critical tool requirements.
Our personnel are also trained to use the latest drawing and evaluation software.
The center is geared for running on a 24 x 7 basis and we have with us a full capacity 125 Kw diesel generator. All our machines are protected for down time from power surges and is backed with a 25 KW UPS cum regulator which also provides frequency control within 0.5 Hz.
PREMISES: We have a sprawling 1 acre area and an inbuilt 21000sq. feet facility with ample scope for expansion presently up to 60500sq. feet.
